About AutoVectors Studio Pro, pre-cut software for PPF installers

What Studio Pro is

AutoVectors Studio Pro is paint protection film (PPF) cutting software for Windows, sold as a subscription to vetted shops. The vehicle library is built into it, so it is PPF pattern software and the cutting program in one: pick a template by make, model and year, set the width of the roll on the plotter, and Autonest, Studio Pro’s autonesting, lays the pieces onto the roll so that each sheet goes straight to the cutter.

Studio Pro is plot-only. A template never leaves the program as a file: there is no export and no download of templates, and no template is saved to the PC as a file. What leaves the program is the job sent to the cutter and a Save of your work to our server. The program itself is not a public download either — a shop asks for it, we reply, and a personal download link follows.

What this library is

The library is the program’s pattern database, published from our catalogue. A new template appears here within the hour of being published, and a retired one leaves the same way; nothing on these pages is older than the catalogue it was read from.

It has four shelves: cars (paint protection film), motorcycles (paint protection film), interior protection film, and window tint film. On each shelf a make lists its model families and a family lists its templates, one per model year, body and kit.

A kit is every piece drawn for one vehicle. A full kit covers the whole car; a front kit covers the bonnet, bumper, wings and mirrors — the parts that take the most stone chips. A template with no qualifier is a whole kit.

A year reads “from 2019” because that is what the catalogue records: the first model year the drawing was made for, and nothing else. Whether a later year fits the same drawing is the installer’s call on the car in front of them.

How these pages are made

Every page in this library is generated from the template’s catalogue record — make, model, year, body, kit, size and preview. No page is written by hand for a template and nothing on it is invented. When a record is wrong, the page is wrong the same way; write to info@autovectors.com and we correct the record.

The pictures

Every picture on these pages is a low-resolution, watermarked render of the template, made for identification: enough to tell one kit from another, not to scale, and not a cut file. © AutoVectors. The pictures are not licensed for reuse. You may link to a page and quote a picture to talk about it; you may not remove the mark, re-host the pictures as a set, or use them to make, trace or sell a template. The templates themselves are licensed only inside AutoVectors Studio Pro (Terms, section 7).
